1. Overview

RoarOS is a product of Short, Inc. RoarOS helps you manage your social marketing strategy, content tracking, and analytics for TikTok and Instagram. By using RoarOS, you can add social media accounts to track by providing their public profile URLs or handles. RoarOS then collects and analyzes publicly available data from those accounts to provide our services.

2. How RoarOS Collects Data

When you add a TikTok or Instagram account to RoarOS, you provide us with a public profile URL or handle. RoarOS collects publicly available information from those profiles, including:

  • Public profile information such as display name, bio, and follower counts
  • Publicly posted content including videos, images, and captions
  • Publicly visible engagement metrics such as views, likes, comments, and shares

RoarOS does not require you to log in to your social media accounts through our platform. We do not store your social media passwords or authentication tokens. Social media data collected by RoarOS is sourced from publicly accessible information. In addition, you may enter proprietary business data into RoarOS, such as custom tags, costs, notes, campaign structures, and other strategy-related information. This user-provided data is treated as confidential and is not shared with other users or third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.

You may add accounts that you own ("owned accounts") or third-party accounts for competitive analysis ("competitor accounts"). Both types are tracked using the same publicly available data. You represent that your use of RoarOS to track any account complies with applicable laws and the respective platform's terms of service.

3. Our Services

RoarOS uses publicly available social media data to provide the following services:

  • Content Tracking: Monitoring post performance metrics including views, likes, comments, shares, and engagement rates over time
  • Analytics and Reporting: Providing insights, trend analysis, and performance data for your tracked content and campaigns
  • Campaign Management: Organizing your tracked content into campaigns and groups for structured analysis
  • AI-Powered Insights: Using tracked performance data to generate strategic recommendations, creative direction, and competitive intelligence
  • Competitive Analysis: Tracking and comparing public competitor content performance against your own

4. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Maintain the security of your RoarOS account credentials
  • Use RoarOS in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Not use RoarOS to violate any third-party rights or platform policies
  • Ensure your team members use the platform appropriately
  • Provide accurate information during account registration and onboarding
  • Only track accounts for which you have a legitimate business purpose

5. Subscription and Payment

RoarOS is offered on a subscription basis. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable fees for your selected plan. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the end of the current billing period. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.

We reserve the right to change our pricing with reasonable notice. Any price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle following notification.

6. Data Handling and Privacy

We handle data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your data or the publicly available social media data we collect to third parties. We maintain appropriate security measures to protect your information and will only use collected data to provide and improve RoarOS's services.

7. Third-Party Platforms

RoarOS collects publicly available data from TikTok and Instagram using third-party data collection services. Your own use of TikTok and Instagram remains subject to each platform's terms and policies. We make no representations about the relationship between RoarOS and these platforms. Changes to platform policies, data availability, or access methods may affect the availability of certain RoarOS features.

8. Service Availability and Changes

Social media platforms may modify their public interfaces, policies, or features at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to adapt to such changes, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted data collection or feature availability. We are not responsible for:

  • Changes, interruptions, or limitations imposed by social media platforms
  • Data availability or accuracy issues originating from third-party platforms
  • Temporary service interruptions for maintenance or updates
  • Changes to publicly available data on tracked social media accounts

9. Removing Tracked Accounts

You may remove any tracked TikTok or Instagram account from RoarOS at any time through your account settings. Removing a tracked account will stop data collection for that account. We may retain an anonymized and archived copy of associated data for up to two years for benchmarking and service improvement purposes, as described in our Privacy Policy. You may request complete and permanent deletion of all your data at any time by contacting us at legal@roaros.com.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to RoarOS if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • We determine your use poses security, legal, or compliance risks
  • Required by law or platform policy
  • Your account has been inactive for more than one year

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Short, Inc. is not liable for any damages arising from:

  • Third-party platform actions, changes, or service interruptions
  • Inaccuracies in publicly available data collected from social media platforms
  • Data unavailability caused by changes to third-party platforms
  • Decisions made based on analytics, insights, or AI-generated recommendations provided by RoarOS

12. Updates to These Terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes in our services, platform requirements, or legal obligations. Material changes will be communicated through email or prominent notice in your account dashboard.
